OOTD :: Five tips to dressing up a Big Chop, Fade, TWA, short to no hair

Hi luvs,

Since this is my first OOTD since I big chopped I thought it would be a great idea, if I shared with you guys some tips on how to dress up when you have a fade, TWA(Teeny Weeny Afro) or short to no hair.

TIP # 1

To boost your confidence always wear clothes you absolutely love.

Wearing something that you love, will automatically make you feel good about yourself and boost your confidence. It will also help you get over the fact that you have short hair and will help you focus on other parts of yourself.

TIP # 2

Pick out clothes that will enhance your feminine features.

In this case, I chose this pencil hugging skirt and heels. This will help you get over  those thoughts like, “I look like a boy”, unless of course you are going for a boyish look. Then, of course, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!

TIP # 3

Wear clothes with striking bright colors, to take away the attention from your hair.

Anything bright and bold is great. You can also opt for Neons or anything colorful to brighten up your mood and make you stand out. I love fushia, I think its a color that compliments me well, so I paired the skirt with this fushia top.

TIP # 4

Pick out garments with a feminine feel.

The lace at the back of this top keeps the outfit girly. I also like that the peek a boo effect on the top and the leather on the skirt keeps the outfit edgy.

TIP # 5

Go with bold Jewelry that will make a statement.

For this outfit I choose some dangling earrings. This is another item that can take your look to the next level and take the attention away from your hair cut.

This outfit is perfect for a date or a night out on the town with the girls.

Wow! Hoe brave…you really look good with it short. I have also been considering trimming mine short since it’s gotten messed up here in Botås. Never had this much hair crisis as recently :( I wouldn’t look as good though.
