BY MALINA at Day 2 Of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Stockholm

Hi luvs,

Designer By Malina showcased their Spring/Summer Collection at Day 2 Of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Stockholm. I love the whole feel and look of this collection. It’s filled with gorgeous hues of deep pinks, oranges, blues and greens. Very boho-chic, flowy, laid back and comfortable.

The collection’s description from the designer.

The Spring/Summer 2014 collection is inspired by the boho-chic Ibiza lifestyle and the spiritual, pleasure-loving and luscious life of this sunny Mediterranean island.

The collection is all about the woman who wears comfortable, luxurious, and loose fitting clothes in the finest materials. Her look exudes an easy, laid-back glamour that suits the beach as well as the most chichi evening soirees.

The style is effortless; silk shorts, wavy printed maxi dress or an oversized silk shirt that lets you be flexible in adjusting your look as your spontaneous days events may change. We envision the By Malina girl leisurely cruising by on a Vespa through the beautiful Ibizian landscapes of medieval cisterns and fruit trees along the emerald coast near sunset.

By Malina develops all the patterns we use for each season together with an illustrator. The main pattern for SS14 is Riviera, it comes in Pink and Blue and has Mediterranean influences such as flowers, leaves and water.

This spring By Malina works with lambskin, cotton lace and canvas, but the favorite material is still silk. The material mixes make the collection wider and more versatile in usage.
