Johanna Pihl presented their Spring/Summer 14 collection at the 3rd Day Of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Stockholm. This collection had beautifully tailored lines and patterns incorporated into silk and leather.
From the designer:
The spring/summer 2014 collection was born from the era of Art Deco and Gothic architecture focusing research on lines and patterns characteristic from these periods. The parallel between the two generates a sharp and sleek expression.
Johanna Pihl’s high attention to details is once again highlighted in the collection, combined together with reconstructed original pattern and line influences. These are highlighted in various fabric manipulated motive together with tailoring, a monochrome color palette consisting of white, beige, camel, mahogany, black and natural textiles such as silk and leather, are all merging together to form the SS14 collection.
