“You will never “find” time for anything. If you want time, you must make it.”
I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend, can you believe its September already? As we officially end the long summer vacation and go back to business as usual, one thing that most of us are not looking forward to, is getting back to being exceptionally busy.
Its so easy to move along life being sucked up by how busy we are and feeling like we barely have enough time to do anything we truly love. When I feel stressed out at the end of the day because I didn’t do one of the many things I wanted to do…which is way often than I care to admit, I often tell myself tomorrow is a brand new day and I get another shot, another chance. But the next day often ends with the same regrets…and a pile of to do’s. Then weeks pass by, months…I look back and tell myself, If only I had enough time.
But we all get the same 24 hours a day…how do some people in this extremely busy day and age, manage to get way more accomplished then the rest of us? Its all about priorities.
One thing that I’ve been thinking about is no matter how busy I am, there are certain things I must do, like you know the routines..brush my teeth, take a shower, make lunch/breakfast, eat, wash the dishes, change diapers, get my boy from school etc Therefore the only solution I have thus far is to list my biggest priorities and make time for them.
Apart from the things that we want to do or would like to do because of our own self development, we also need to make time for our relationships. The only way to nurture any relationship is to invest time in it…and how do we happen to do that if we are always busy?
Social media makes things even harder… a friend of mine once complained to me that they were trying to reach a person for business and whenever they sent them an email, the person would say they were too busy. But then they would see the person all day long on twitter, so they were wondering is this guy really that busy that they can’t spare me some of that time they are spending on twitter?

Last Sunday I said I will start taking time to learn one thing each week, so this Sunday I’m sharing with you what I’ve been learning.
This past week I’ve been taking the Bella Pop Free Online Photography class, this class is super helpful for a beginner and photography enthusiast like myself, I found her way of teaching very fun and easy to understand. The class had four lessons, Finding your photography style, Getting creative, Finding pretty Light & Telling your story.
Right now I’m in the process of saving money to get myself a DSLR camera, in the meantime, all the photos/videos I take for my blog/vlogs/social media are taken with my phone, so in the meantime that is what I’m practicing with.
To keep myself committed to this task of taking photographs I decided to join in the fun and do a #30 day photography challenge for the month of september on instagram. I will post the challenge below and you can follow me on instagram if you’ld like to join me. This is the first time I’m taking a challenge on instagram so we will see how this goes. I will probably be sharing some of the images from my instagram every Sunday, together with my inspiration/motivation/self development posts.
