Hey luvs,

This will be my last vacation re-cap outfit post & I must say, I had a blast! Can you tell from all the talk of food in my posts that I stuff myself whenever I travel? All healthy eating rules go out the window during this time. This is one time I try to relax the rules and indulge in the local cuisines. Of course when I got back I gave my body a well needed food cleanse!

I think it’s very important once in a while to allow yourself some cheat days especially during the holiday season or vacations. As long as you set some boundaries and don’t completely pig out, it keeps you from feeling guilty.  It also helps to keep you even more motivated when you get back on track.

I wore this mustard dress to my final lunch out with family before we returned. For lunch we headed to Sea Cliff Village, a shopping & food court area near the city. The restaurant we went to Spurs, offers american style meals and is a great dining place for those with kids and family.

I wore a lovely golden mustard dress for the occasion. I love this color, so vivacious, it actually reminds me of the transition from summer to fall. How ironic, that I wore this particular dress right before returning back! To transition this outfit for the cold weather, I would simply layer it with a scarf, a leather jacket and some ankle booties.

Lady, you wore that yellow dress! Tanzania is certainly on my list of places to visit one day.

How is the natural hair scene in Tanzania?

Thnx Gisele ♥ You should visit I’m sure you will enjoy it! Actually I have a post about the natural hair scene in Tanzania here on my blog. If you look around you’re sure to find it on the archives. There are three articles in june two were part of my natural hair journey series and another on african hair heritage a question posed by another blogger. In general most people in the bigger cities wear their hair in weaves and relaxers. But this time when I went I noticed that more and more people were wearing their hair in locks or twa. Im not sure if this is a new trend because I didnt really ask.

  3. That mustard color looks great on you. Visiting from Friday Fancies link up!
