Can you believe that the holidays are officially over and it’s almost time to get back to business as usual? I’m sure most of you have quite a number of goals you want to achieve this year, whatever our goals are, we all want to be the best version of ourselves and have a better year, in all aspects of our lives.
In the past few days, I’ve seen a lot of many inspirational and encouraging quotes on social media motivating us all to start the year right. But this one in particular stood out to me the most.
“You cannot pray for an A on a test and study for a B. You cannot pray for a celestial marriage and live a telestial life. You cannot pray for something and act less.”
— Tad R. Callister
In today’s world of social media where we’re constantly bombarded by the lives of others. This makes it so easy for us to feel like complete failures and that our lives are not as great as compared to those of others. We do this without seeing the full picture/ without knowing the whole story/ without knowing their struggles or path. We make assumptions on another person’s snapshot. Everyone has a story but we forget this and at times we may fall into the trap of feeling that we’re entitled to a certain lifestyle.
But if we really think about it, do we actually deserve what we want? are we honestly putting in the time, effort and work required into achieving our goals? I know we all live in a very busy and distracting world where time is a luxury. Amongst all the distractions, I just thought that this is a great reminder, that our goals, hopes, dreams and prayers have to be aligned with our actions and our intentions. As you get back to your routine this year, I hope that this is something that will inspire you as much as it inspired me.
Goodluck & have a great and productive week ahead!

Much Love & Stay Blessed,
