Hi luvs,

I just wanted to wish every one a very Merry Christmas & a Prosperous New Year. I also wanted to thank you all for following along with me through this past year.

I started this blog towards the end of last year and I have now been blogging for a whole year. It has been a fun and challenging ride and I’m so happy I began this journey. I hope in the upcoming year I can continue to share with you all the things that I love, while growing in the process.

Today’s outfit is inspired by the magical spirit of christmas, the winter wonderlands and the angelic spirit of love and joy. Lace is one of those pieces that never goes out of style. Its romantic and perfect for any holiday affair. What I love about this  ASOS midi lace dress is, its very soft and fits my body  like a glove without feeling uncomfortable.

I’ve been looking for a good quality coat for a while now, so you can imagine my excitement when I spotted this D&G wool trench coat at a thrift store recently. It’s such good quality and very warm yet classic. I must admit I’m not a professional thrift shopper, but finding this little gem has got me thinking that I should probably consider thrifting as part of my shopping options.

When it comes to outerwear, you want to have at least one piece that will last the test of time. If you want to stay warm each winter season, you have to make sure you invest in that one piece that you can count on year after year. This sometimes equals expensive but it doesn’t always have to be. Buying vintage classic pieces allows you the best of both worlds. Great quality at a great price.

Lastly, I accessorized my winter whites, with my favorite animal print heels and clutch. I love how the prints draws attention to the all white outfit. I opted to keep accessories to a minimum and let my clutch act as the centerpiece of the outfit. I think the golden detail on the clutch does a great job at that.
