Today I’ll be sharing my 10 months post big chop update. When I did the video below I was actually 10 months post BC, this was back in march. But I’ve been so busy and haven’t gotten around posting this. Technically, next week I’ll actually be 11 months post BC which is super exciting because next months it’s going to be a year!!! It’s amazing how time flies!
I’m very happy with the progress of my hair so far, if you’ve been following my journey from the beginning then you know that I big chopped after being natural for almost 5 years after experiencing a lot of post pregnancy shedding, especially around my hairline area. If you need to catch up, you can go back and read my previous posts below :
Although I’m happy with my progress as far as my hairline and growth rate goes. I haven’t done an official length check because at this point I would like to focus on creating a healthy regimen rather than length. I believe once I’m able to stick to a consistent healthy regimen, length retention will fall into place so to speak. But I can see noticeable growth and I’m so happy that I decided to document my progress through pictures and videos. Being able to look back and seeing the changes overtime is very encouraging and rewarding.
I’m at the point where my hair is starting to lock on itself and form knots if not detangled as often. This has become more and more apparent within the past month. Since then, I have been doing a lot of research on different hairstyles, regimens and products that would work with my type of hair, the length of my hair and the kind of convenience I want with my hair.
I’m glad to say that I have finally found a method that I am experimenting with and will be documenting it here on the blog and on my youtube channel pretty soon. I’m very excited about it and can’t wait to share it with you guys. If you follow me on instagram, you’ve probably gotten a glimpse of what I’ve been experimenting with.
Thanx so much for stopping by ♥,
Much Love & Stay Blessed,
