OOTD – Cold Shoulder

Last year I went through my closet and got rid of quite a lot of items. Items that for one reason or the other I don’t really wear anymore. It’s been such a breath of fresh air having fewer items that I really, really love and that I actually wear on a regular basis.

When I currently look at my closet, with just a simple glance, I can see everything I own and it makes planning out my outfit hassle free. One reason I did a closet clear out was to make things easier but another was to rebuild my wardrobe.

One thing I noticed when I was going through my closet is I seem to have quite a few items in the color gray. This was strange because it’s not a color that I’d really mention as a favorite of mine. But I guess if I don’t pick up something black, I end up with gray, especially in the fall/winter season.

Since spring is officially here and the sun is out, I decided to add a pop of red to make this outfit more colorful and I love the outcome.

iHerb Haul March

I recently got some stuff from iHerb, I usually order stuff from there every month or every other month depending on how much of my hair care products I got left.

As always I got Kinky Curly Knot Today conditioner, this time I ordered two bottles and I hope they’ll last me much longer than they usually do. I also got an 80z jar of the KCCC gel.

I get a lot of questions asking if I still do the MHM, yes I do, but I rarely wear my hair in a wash and go anymore. I do the full regimen once a week, on a weekend. The gel lasts me way longer than it used to, which is a plus :)

My go to hairstyle has been a low bun parted down in the middle and when I go to bed at night I just twist my hair to avoid shrinkage. The next morning I untwist my hair brush it down and tie it in a low bun.

As far as skincare goes, this time I picked up only two products, both from Jason. The first one is the Jason Natural, Brightening Apricot Scrubble Facial Wash and Scrub. This is a deep cleansing exfoliating scrub that contains Apricot oil. The Apricot Oil helps to brighten the skin’s complexion and walnut powder exfoliates the skin, unclogs pores and removes dead skin cells.

And I also got the Jason Natural, C effects, Pure Natural Creme its a moisturizer with anti-aging properties. It helps to tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The ingredients include Ester C, Vitamin E, Green Tea and Thioctic Acid.

If you’re new to iHerb  I do have a coupon code DCJ671 and you can get
$10 off your first order of $40
$5 off your first order of less than $40

Do you have some favorite skincare products? please share them below, because I’m currently on the hunt for products to add to my skincare regimen.

OOTD | It’s officially Spring…

The sun has been coming out more often and the temperatures have started getting better…it’s starting to feel a lot like spring :)

Although I love Fall/Winter Fashion, I’m excited I can finally start wearing skirts/dresses, lighter tops and I can ditch my boots :)

What excites you about spring ?
