The year of stepping into God’s Promises…

Happy New Year 2018!!!! I hope you had a wonderful and restful holiday season!!!
As I was reflecting on the year past, I recall posting this prayer in the beginning of 2017…God truly delivered and went beyond my expectations in 2017

My lack was turned into plenty, as God opened new doors and gave way to new opportunities…

2017 was the year of clarity for me as a person and where I stand in my relationship with God…as I surrendered more and more of my life to him, I had certainty because of the Faith I had in him…

When I say I went through it, I am not joking, oh boy was I put through the wringer…But God!!!

He turned every single one of those tests into testimonies…

He worked big miracles in my life and I truly believe HE IS THE GOD OF MIRACLES…

And of course there was a lot of growth and change in my life…

Because of the lessons learnt in 2017 I’m stepping boldly into 2018 with HOPE and FAITH in God’s promises for my life.

Without God, Hope is NOTHING but wishful thinking that our expectations and desires will come to pass…with God Hope is having confident assurance and trust in his promises for our lives.

Romans 8:24-25 (AMP)

24 For in this hope we were saved [by faith]. But hope [the object of] which is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he already sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait eagerly for it with patience and composure.

Hebrews 11:1 (AMP)

11 Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].

I am confident and have HOPE and FAITH because, God is not a man that he should lie (Numbers 23 : 19) therefore I know, the word God has spoken unto my life shall not return void but will accomplish what God desires and achieve the purpose for which he sent it. (Isaiah 55 : 11)

Happy New Year once again, and I pray that God blesses your 2018 abundantly, beyond your expectations. That you may testify of the goodness of the Lord AMEN

PS: The images above are from around August 2017, I have a lot of catching up to do here on the blog :)

Love Always,

2016 the year that was…2017 the year to come…

WOW this year just really flew over my head, I feel like I literally blinked and the year has come to an end…it’s exciting but terrifying at the same time. Exciting at the thought of a new beginning, a new chapter, new opportunities and new adventures. Terrifying that the end of 2017 may come just as fast…

For me this year has been about spiritual growth…I’m very grateful that this year I’ve really taken the opportunity to build my relationship with God and I’ve seen the work he’s done in my life. There were so many moments where I really didn’t know how I’ll get through but God gave me the strength…he provided for me and protected me. I’m forever grateful to have this experience and know that I’ve overcome not by my own strength… but I’ve done so because of God’s grace. I’m truly nothing without him.

1 Corinthians 15:10 New King James Version (NKJV)

10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

2016 for me was a year of healing, growth, faith and patience. Most things didn’t go the way I planned in many aspects, I got blindsided a few times but through it all, I had a wonderful sense of peace…peace in knowing that no matter what happens God’s got me and is working everything out for me in the background…I just need to be still, even when I can’t make sense of it all.

Isaiah 26:3New International Version (NIV)

You will keep in perfect peace
    those whose minds are steadfast,
    because they trust in you.

I’m the type of person, when something goes wrong, I immediately try to find a “fix”….I can’t stand for things to stay in somewhat of a perpetual broken state…but this year I’ve learnt that some things are not meant for US to fix…sometimes, we just need to surrender, lean on God, pray and have faith!!! He is the ultimate “fixer” and sometimes he wants everything demolished so he can build something even better….because what we tried to build was really not part of his plan anyway….and he does this so we can learn to completely trust and lean on him.

Joel 2:25 New King James Version (NKJV)

25 “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten,
The crawling locust,
The consuming locust,
And the chewing locust,
My great army which I sent among you.

Who knows what 2017 holds? If anything in 2017, I’d love to go even deeper and higher in my relationship with God. I’d love to grow even more spiritually. I’d love to make God a priority in my life and seek his guidance in everything that I do. I’d love to have a more consistent and stronger prayer life. I’d love to make it a consistent and daily habit to read his word (the bible)…

I’d love to be present, cherish and appreciate each and every moment I spend with my kids. I’d love to create wonderful and beautiful memories with them. I want to laugh more and cry when I need to….I’d love to experience new things, places and opportunities….

Happy New Year Loves, I wish you a 2017 filled with laughter, joy, health, prosperity and all the beautiful things your heart desires…May God bless, guide and keep you.

Inspirational Word and Happy New Year

Hi luvs,

I hope you all had a wonderful and safe New Year…and are now pleasantly recovering from all the partying and fun.

Now is the time we are left with our thoughts, memories of the yesteryear and resolutions for a successful future.

I hope nothing but success, love and happiness follow you all throughout 2013.

As we set our resolutions and goals for the upcoming year I just wanted to slip in a little encouragement and a  reminder…especially for those times when things do not seem to go as planned…

small steps in the right direction

We all have big dreams that we impatiently want to happen right now, but nothing happens overnight!

Its those little steps, routines and habits that we incorporate into days, weeks, months sometimes even years that pay off in the end.

So never give up! just be persistent and consistent in your goals. Use setbacks as lessons to re-evaluate your goals and constantly reassess the methods for achieving your dreams…and before you know it success will be knocking at your door.

Last but not least do not be afraid to live your dreams and most of all dream big…who knows what miracles you can achieve!

In the meantime, work with what you have and be thankful, while you aspire to get what you want…

Never Give Up and Good Luck…♥

Happy New Year,

Here’s to a  year full of love, success, laughter, peace, health and may all your desires and wishes be granted!
