A lot of times when God calls us to do something, we shrink back in FEAR…
Fear, that we’re inadequate to accomplish whatever it is that we’re supposed to do, HOWEVER, when God chose you, he knew who you are, he knows your abilities, he knows your flaws, he knows your strengths and weaknesses too…he knows you inside out and yet he still chose YOU!!!

God doesn't call the qualified

Exodus 4:10-12 (NLT)

10 But Moses pleaded with the Lord, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.”

11 Then the Lord asked Moses, “Who makes a person’s mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.”

God knows we’re not perfect, he knows we’re sinners, that does not prevent him from qualifying us!!!

In the bible there are many stories where God calls the unqualified, one that I love is how he used Moses to deliver the nation of Israel.

Moses, came up with every single excuse as to why he shouldn’t be the one to do the job and he brought all his grievances to God…he kept backing out until God started to get irritated with him and straight up told him, hey I created you, I gave you everything you have, even your so called flaws and I can still use you!!!

Moses was lacking in confidence, most of the time as humans we put things off because we think we need to be “Perfect” before we can actually accomplish something great…

but God never said he wanted perfection!!!

God does not call the QUALIFIED, he QUALIFIES the called!

God says come to me just as you are and I will give you exactly what you need to accomplish the task at hand…

God wants to use you, wherever you are and however you are…he knows your flaws and all and he can still use you regardless…

that’s the beauty of walking in the destiny and purpose that God has for you…you have the GODFIDENCE that you can not and will not fail, because when he sets you apart to accomplish something he will see to it that you get it done :)

love always,

XOXO,

Dee
